How to get dotMemory Core logs?

dotMemory 10 or later

  1. Close standalone dotMemory and Visual Studio with integrated dotMemory.
  2. Go to your Temp folder (you can find its location by executing cd %Temp% in command line).
  3. Find JetLogs folder and delete it.
  4. Launch dotMemory.
  5. Start creating a profiling session (e.g., on dotMemory Home page, choose Local).
  6. In the Profile Application window, press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+F11.
  7. In the Expert options dialog window, select the Enable logs checkbox (only this checkbox).
  8. Click Save.
  9. Run the profiling session.
  10. Perform actions that lead to the issue.
  11. Close dotMemory.
  12. Look for logs in the JetLogs folder.

Earlier versions

  1. Close standalone dotMemory and Visual Studio with integrated dotMemory.

  6. In the Profiler Configuration dialog window, press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+F11.
  7. Click Expert options....
  8. Select the Enable logs checkbox (only this checkbox).
  9. Click OK.
  10. Run the profiling session.
  11. Perform actions that lead to the issue.
  12. Close dotMemory.
  13. Look for logs in the JetLogs folder.
